The Catholics Reaching Out Kit includes a DVD of four videos, manuals for parish staffs, and brochures.

DVD

The heart of the Catholics Reaching Out program is the DVD, which contains four videos:

• One video for parish staff to watch together to help them to review their pastoral attitudes and practices and its ministry emphases as well as to brainstorm particular ways to reach out to others
• One video for parishioners whom parish leadership will be asking to reach out to others
• One video for inactive Catholics
• One video for seekers, those currently without a church family

Manual

The manual supplements the video for parish staffs to use in a planning day. For each section of the video, there are times for reflection and group discussion.

Brochures

Two different brochures are to be used as invitations in reaching out to others:

• “Have You Wondered What Your Catholic Faith Can Bring to Your Life” is for people to think about returning to the practice of their Catholic faith.
• “Consider Yourself Invited to a Fuller Way of Life” is for people without a church family to consider exploring what Catholicism can do in their lives.
