About the Author: Robert D. Duggan
Fr. Bob Duggan is a Visiting Fellow at the Life Cycle Institute of the Catholic University of America. Now a retired priest of the Archdiocese of Washington, he served as Pastor of St. Rose of Lima Parish in Gaithersburg, Maryland, for nearly twenty years. He is a noted author and lecturer on many areas of parish ministry. In developing Best Practices for Parishes, he combined his own expertise and knowledge of parish life with contributions from experts in a variety of fields of pastoral ministry.
Other major contributors to Best Practices for Parishes include Kathy Brown, Sue Clark, Anne Koester, Rev. Anthony Krisak, Neil Parent, and Sr. Susan Wolf, SND. Many others offered critique and valuable suggestions that helped to refine and improve this resource during the process of its development.
